In such conditions two or three patients lie in the same bed.
Patients are discharged very quickly, meaning that the hospital cannot thoroughly cure each patient. On the contrary, the hospital speeds up discharge in order to vacate the beds.

For the last two months the centres have been depopulating due to the high mortality among their inhabitants. There has also been a phenomenon of mass “emigration” from the centres. Devoid of means of subsistence, refugees and deportees are trying to get to the other side of the ghetto wall, to the provinces, to where there are more opportunities at least for begging. These efforts are rarely successful. The escapees return, brought back by the police or turned back. Many die during their journey.
