need dishes and clothing. We got 150 kg of bread from ŻTOS. During the day each person waiting for departure received:

9 a.m. — ¼ kg of bread and a mug of coffee

1 p.m. — a plate of soup

5 p.m.— ¼ kg of bread from the Care Section.

[91] Those departing to the labour camp received: towels, bars of soap, cigarettes, and postcards. We cannot provide everybody with the said items. We distribute them only to those who need them the most. The Care Section for labour camp prisoners sent a parcel containing the following items of clothing:

22 pairs of long underwear

26 shirts

1 pair of trousers

1 individual parcel

All these items were recorded and then distributed among those who needed them the most.

36 camp people at 8:30 a.m. 96½ kg of bread from yesterday. During the day we expect more people to arrive. [92] We still receive letters from the families. We entrust them to a member of our Care Section to be quickly delivered.

At 8:58 p.m. a group of 172 people departed to Garwolin, while 14 people plus 9 more were released. We distributed the following items among those departing to the camp: 7 shirts, 6 pairs of long underwear, 5 scarves, 1 cap, 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of trousers, and 7 pairs of socks.

At 7 p.m. we distributed 216 rations of bread (¼ kg per person).

The Care Section for labour camp prisoners keeps sending us clothing:

The contents of a parcel we received:

15 shirts,

15 pairs of long underwear,

10 towels,

15 pairs of socks,

3 pairs of trousers.
