DEPARTMENT OF JEWISH POPULATION REGISTRATION (Wydział Ewidencji Ludności Żydowskiej Rady Żydowskiej)-- Department of the Jewish Council in charge of registration of residents of the Jewish district and listing people for forced labour. Its head was Pinchas Wasserman.

DEPARTMENT OF PEOPLE'S KITCHENS (Wydział Kuchni Ludowych)-Department of the ŻSS established in October 1939 and dealing with the organisation of people’s (soup) kitchens and food for children.

DEPARTMENT OF THE PHARMACIES OF THE JUDENRAT (Wydział Aptek Rady Żydowskiej)--Department of the Jewish Council in charge of supervising pharmacies and distributing drugs in the ghetto.

DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE JEWISH COUNCIL (Wydział Opieki Społecznej Rady Żydowskiej)--A branch of the Department of Health and Social Welfare of the Judenrat. It was in charge of providing help for children and the poorest on behalf of the Jewish Council. The first chairman was Łazarz Łabędź, then Meszulem Kaminer and Gustaw Wielikowski.

DEPARTMENT OF THE ORDER SERVICE (Wydział Służby Porządkowej)-- Department overseeing the activities of the Order Service. Its head was Leopold Kupczykier, then Bernard Zundelewicz.

LABOUR DEPARTMENT OF THE JEWISH COUNCIL (Wydział Pracy Rady Żydowskiej)--Department of the Jewish Council in charge of the registration and assigning of residents of the ghetto to forced labour, as well as organisation of work in the ghetto. Its head was Bolesław Rozensztadt.

PROPAGANDA DEPARTMENT (Abteilung Propaganda)--Department at the Office of the Head of the District. Its head was Wilhelm Ohlenbusch.

STATISTICS DIVISION (Wydział Statystyczny Rady Żydowskiej)--The Division prepared monthly reports for the Jewish Council on demographic and economic issues in the Jewish district, residency surveys, and other statistical studies. Its head was Józef Jaszuński.
