to undergo quarantine in Warsaw and currently they are at the centres for
refugees without the basic necessities to live. Some of them are simply swollen
from hunger and cold. One does not need to wait long for consequences of
such conditions. There are lots of sick people, and there have even been several
instances of deaths: Sheyndl Birnboym, Joanna Bendeva, Apel, Menashe
Kirshenboym, Tsadok Rumelsburg, Joanna Rumelsburg, Nosn Zarodnik.
People roam in the streets without a place to rest their heads, and quite a lot
of people go about with thoughts of suicide.
