250 grams of salt
500 ” rye flour
500 ” groats
250 ” sugar
100 ” oil
and some coal.
Every individual shall be allocated 50 kilograms of potatoes.
The amount of the remaining products has not yet been specified.
The price of the allocation per person is approximately 20 (twenty) marks.
Everyone shall ensure that the received food products are stored under
the proper conditions at home.
The food coupons I have introduced shall come into use shortly. Until
their issue, the distribution of the above allocation is to proceed as follows:
Individuals to be supplied:
I. Benefit recipients
The sum of 20 marks for the food allocation is to be deducted from the
benefit in 4 monthly instalments, beginning with December 1940.
II. Workers employed in my factories and workshops.
The sum of 20 marks is to be deducted in 8 weekly instalments, begining
with December 1940.
III. All Community employees.
As far as the employees who earn up to 60 marks per month are concerned,
the sum of 20 marks is to be deducted in 3 monthly instalments,
while in the case of those who earn over 60 marks, the sum is to
be deducted in 2 monthly instalments, beginning with December 1940.
IV. The remaining population.
This group shall receive the food allocation in the amount allowed by
food coupons upon immediate payment so as to prevent fraud on the
part of House Committees.
Individuals who receive a benefit shall have their coupons for the said
allocation delivered by post.
Workers employed in my factories and workshops shall receive the coupons
from the directors of the appropriate Departments.
