484 Izaak (Ignacy) Gutman (1900–1972), graduate of the Architecture Department of the Warsaw Technical University, designed many modernist tenement buildings in Łódź; in the ghetto, head of the Building Department, co-designer of the ghetto banknotes. After the war he designed the building of the Jewish Theatre in Łódź. In 1958 he emigrated to Israel, where he worked in Bat-Yam building service.
