526 The relations in the ghetto, particularly the vices and weaknesses of the individuals holding top clerical positions, became a topic of satirical texts. As it was impossible to print them they circulated in the form of handwritten duplicates. Aside those collected in the Ringelblum Archive there survived several notebooks containing copied works. Some of the texts were published in Oblicza getta. Antologia tekstów z getta łódzkiego, ed. K. Radzieszewska and E. Wiatr (Łódź, 2016), pp. 343–420. Some of the duplicates specify the texts’ authors, so it was possible to name the authors of some of the poems published here.
